Samuel Haynes Jenks papers, 1802-1813.

Papers of Samuel Haynes Jenks of Boston, Mass., 1802-13, include orations on the topic of music that were delivered in Boston to the Harmonick Club, 1809, and the New North Music Society, 1811-13. Also includes an arithmetic practice book kept by Jenks as a teenager while studying at the North School in Boston. Practice book contains mathematical rules, tables, and equations.
